Announcing UCL's latest global engagement funding recipients

This year, 52 outstanding projects were awarded funding from the UCL Global Engagement Funds, and 11 projects were awarded funding to facilitate the UN SDGs under a joint call from GEO and UCL Grand Challenges.

Recipients of the UCL Strategic Partner Funds, which are jointly funded with UCL's global partners, have also been announced (more about these below).

UCL Strategic Partner Funds awardees

For the 2020/21 year, GEO launched ten joint seed funding calls with global partners to help support UCL's international collaborations.

Many of this year's projects address the world's most pressing issues such as COVID-19 and the UN SDGs. Find out more about the successful projects under each of the following calls:

UCL GOS Institute of Child Health and the India Alliance are welcoming creative entries from all disciplines for a virtual exhibition to improve understanding of the early years of a child's life. Enter by 15 March.

UCL SE Asia & Australasia Regional Network Meeting
3 March 2021 (1:05pm–2:05pm)

This regular meeting brings together staff from across UCL with an interest in or links to South East Asia and Australasia. It is also open to UCL's partners in the region.

UCL Brain Cancer Seminar Series
24 March 2021 (11am–12pm)

The next event in this series will be hosted in collaboration with the University of Toronto. The seminar series seeks to create a community of scientists and clinicians working on projects related to brain cancer.
