A sneak peek on:
Global Action Days
April 2021

This year, the Global Action Days campaign, in partnership with Now.Here., will engage youth through the Treasure Earth app in small positive actions (Handprints) to become more compassionate towards Earth. The campaign will mobilise the power of our network and demonstrate how small individual actions can have a great impact on our own and our Earth’s wellbeing.

The campaign is designed as a 21-days journey of ‘Compassionate Actions’. These actions will inspire participants to live and act differently by crystallising intentions into concrete actions and new patterns of positive behaviour.

Each of the three campaign weeks will be dedicated to three overall goals:
Week 1 – Protect Global Biodiversity
Week 2 – Reduce Environmental Pollution
Week 3 – Empower Climate Action

Look out for the official press release next month to learn more!

New Course on FEE Academy

On 1 March, we are releasing our course: Understanding Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). After taking this course, you will be able to explain the basic concepts of ESD and reflect on their applications in your own programmes.

The development of this course is supported by the North American Association for Environmental Education, as part of the EE30U30 Changemaker Grants, and it aims to support our network of teachers and programme managers with the implementation of their ESD programmes.

Trash Hack Campaign

Schools from all over the world are participating in the Trash Hack campaign and sharing their ideas for how to reduce and up-cycle waste. The most inspiring videos and photo stories from students have the chance to be featured on UNESCO's Trash Hack website AND to be globally recognised as part of FEE's mini-competition.

Read more about the campaign and submit your story here.
Nand Vidya Niketan in Jamnagar, India, has organised a ton of activities for their students as part of their ‘Go Green Initiative’. They have created bird feeders, face masks, and even lamps from things that would otherwise go to waste - all perfect ideas to the Trash Hack Campaign!
