Welcome to your weekly newsletter of news, views and events in Saratoga Springs and beyond.

News from your Saratoga Springs Democratic Party:

Candidate petitioning gets underway for June primary. The 2021 petitioning for candidates to gain access to this year’s ballot will kick off on Tuesday, March 2 and continue for three weeks. A member from the Democratic Party or candidate may be coming to your door asking you for your signature on a designating petition for candidate(s) for local office(s). In light of COVID precautions, the required number of signatures has been reduced by 30% but we still need signed petitions to qualify candidates for the ballot. How can you help? If you live in Saratoga Springs, contact your district representative (look them up on this page) and let them know you’re willing to sign petitions with safety measures scrupulously observed. If you’re outside Saratoga Springs but a registered voter in Saratoga County, contact County Chair Todd Kerner at tkerner1@gmail.com.
