Welcome to our September newsletter, this month we get back to business with our face to face workshops, update you on the BIPC Humber Partnership expansion, visit our Reset. Restart: small grants & packages of support, and take a look at the support available to you in our region.

Back to Business - Two-day business support workshop

It’s been a while.... but now our brilliant two-day workshops are back, with the first one taking place at Western Library on 22, 23 September. 

We are excited to see you all again, face to face, hearing your ideas and sharing our tools and resources with you. 

There will be plenty of helpful tips and a fab goody bag to take away. On day 2 we meet Adrian Fisher of local business, Rooted in Hull, as he takes us through his business journey.

BIPC Humber Partnership business support, wherever you are.

The newly formed BIPC Humber Partnership is now taking shape with local centres due to open in Beverley Library, Bridlington Central Library, Goole Library and Grimsby Central Library in the coming months. As with Regional Centre BIPC Hull, there will be a wealth of business resources and at each library, including access to company and market intelligence databases; business books, industry guides, and Intellectual Property (IP) guidance.

Reset. Restart: small grants and packages of support

Our Reset. Restart: small grants and packages of support have come to a close. We loved the experience and embraced the opportunity to support so many businesses in our region in this most difficult time. 

Our grants funded a wide range of business needs including; training courses, marketing and accountancy consultations, trademark applications, essential equipment, and data packages. 

Those we helped included; hairdressers, designers, dog walkers, cafe owners, performers, pilates teachers, face painters and inventors!

There are brilliant online Reset. Restart webinars still available to you, via the British Library and Business & IP Centre National Network.

Hull City Council announce new start-up grants 

Utilising Additional Restrictions Grant funding allocated from Government, Hull City Council are able to provide a discretionary Start-Up Grant Scheme to aid recovery of the local economy from the Covid-19 pandemic and support business formation and growth.
