Kia ora
After the decision from the Prime Minister that we are moving to Level 2 as of 6.00AM, Sunday 28 February, I would like to share with you the following:
- We will be a South End School bubble for the Level 2 period - so we will not be going out anywhere nor allowing extra people on site.
- No parents past the gates please. If you have a new student and you feel it is in their best interest to accompany them to the classroom door, please go through the office. South End School OPEN DOOR policy is on hold while we are in Level 2; sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
- We support contact tracing and have a QR code poster at our entrance, while using the app is preferable we also have a contact tracing register at the main office door.
- We wish to assure you that our school has safe and sensible practices to maintain the health and safety of everyone on the school site. We will track who is at school and who our staff and students have been in close contact with while in Level 2.
- Under Alert Level 2, we advise any students and staff to stay at home if they are sick, and we will send anyone home immediately if they show any symptoms.
I will keep in contact and update everyone if there are any changes.
Ngā mihi nui
