Meet Kathryn Bertine, Women's
Advocate and new TeamTrak Advisor
She gained international notoriety in cycling by taking on the sport’s Holy Grail, the Tour de France. By mobilizing some of the world’s top cyclists, she challenged the organizers to add a women’s event with equal distance, equal pay and equal respect. That struggle and more is documented in STAND, her engagingly candid autobiography about what happens behind the scenes to an outspoken advocate for women’s equality in cycling. In addition to her life as an author, athlete, activist and documentary filmmaker, Bertine has recently become an advocate and adviser to TeamTrak for the steps it is taking to provide equal opportunity for women and a fresh new format for track cycling.
