Hello, everyone!
One look out the window confirms that Spring is practically here and I am grateful to be here to enjoy it. Warmer weather, fresh colors, and sweet breezes through open windows... and Easter!
Lorna and Judy decided to decorate an Easter tree with sequin-covered styrofoam eggs. The boys are helping! Look close and you can probably pick out Bear's eggs—he embraces the concept of negative space 🤣.
I made an idea-video to explain the simple process, click here to see it. Click here to read a blog post that shows how to use needle and thread to make hangers.
Click here to order sequins, beads, and 3/4" pins. You can find styrofoam eggs in varied sizes online or at a craft store.

Last week I explained why it is important to read batting labels. If you are like me, you may find surprises in the details.

Today, March 3, at 2:00 CST I'll be talking about the sentence that ends most patterns: 'Quilt as desired.' What if you don't know what you desire? I will do my best to help sort that out :-).

Restocked Snips
This is getting longer than I'd like, but if you've made it this far, you get the news first. These lovely Japanese silk braid snips from Cohana made the ocean voyage 3 times (sent back by customs!), and are finally here —including the Cohana green/aqua that we've been waiting on. Click here for a video (sorry, the white ones are no longer available at all).
