Wow! Oklahoma has really given us an interesting winter! 60° days in early February, followed by an ice storm, then 8-10" of snow; back to 72° on February 23rd! That's Oklahoma for you!!! Keeps us on our toes, and a variety of coats, jackets and t-shirts available at a day's notice.
One constant is the music at the Music Hall! If you didn't make the Fiddlefest last weekend, you missed a truly wonderful evening! The variety of fiddlers we had on stage was really unusual and the talent displayed was amazing! What a special evening!

Jim Baggett and Byron. Two years ago today, 2-23-19, the worst thing imaginable happened at my fiddle shop. This guitar, a 1940 Martin D 28 herringbone, was badly damaged in a fire which consumed 98% of my instruments. This Martin was among a few instruments in a fire safe, and didn’t burn completely but suffered extensive damage. My good friend, Jim, who owns and operates Mass St Music in Lawrence, Kansas , helped bring this guitar back to life. He did a beautiful job, the guitar looks and sounds amazing, and I can’t thank him enough.

Bette Robert Byron
Several of you have asked about Bette's brother, Dr. Robert. This past month the family gathered to celebrate his birthday and the birthday of his daughter, Carol. The band entertained a bit and Robert and Carol shared a dance or two, as they have done many times over the years. It was a special evening!

Well, it's offically here! Lynn, our "pie lady" is opening her Railyard Pie Shop on Monday, March 1st. She is serving savory as well as sweet pies, cookies and more! The address is 19 W. 1st St. in Edmond, but Lynn says just go to the parking lot behind O'Thello's and look South! You'll find her there and you won't be sorry!
