Thank you so much from all of us at CRAG for your incredible support for our New Year challenges. Owing to your generosity we doubled our initial target for the campaign - the grand total now stands at amazing £5,000, with every penny going to support refugees.

For those of us doing challenges it was wonderful to know our sponsors were rooting for us, and we can’t thank you enough. It helped us enormously to keep going and successfully complete the challenges we’d set ourselves.

We thought you’d like to know how we all got on...

Val Parker completed her challenge to run 100 km by the end of January - mainly across the muddy fields around Charlbury!

Fran Webber painted a picture every day in January.

And Kay Colyer raised over £80 from donations for her organic marmalade.

John Dunleavy aimed to walk 100 miles by his birthday on 10 February and completed the last mile on his birthday. He walked mostly on the muddy footpaths around Chipping Norton and kept a note of some of the interesting birds he saw whilst out on his walks.

Olivia Brooks trained to run a half-marathon (by herself) the last weekend in January, and she ran 21.25 km around Southampton in just over two hours.

Vicky Buser managed to hold a five-minute plank to mark her 50th birthday at the end of January.

All your sponsorship money has gone directly to one of our chosen charities for the campaign: either Safe Passage or Choose Love Help Refugees.

We are currently busy planning more fundraising campaigns and events, and hope to send you details of the first of these in the next day or so.
