Canada's Digital Technology Supercluster: Cycle 4 Technology Leadership Program
Submissions will be accepted on a continuous intake basis
Canada's Digital Technology Supercluster is seeking to co-invest up to $30M in approximately five to seven big, impactful and ambitious projects in the following areas: health, climate change and environment, and digital transformation. CIHR Project Grant for Spring 2021

The program is designed to capture ideas with the greatest potential to advance health-related knowledge, health research, health care, health systems, and health outcomes. It supports projects with a specific purpose and a defined endpoint. Ideas may stem from new, incremental, innovative, or high-risk lines of inquiry or knowledge translation approaches. UBC Public Humanities Hub Research Cluster Grants
Application deadline: Sunday, March 7, 2021
The UBC Public Humanities Hub offers grants up to $15,000 for interdisciplinary research cluster development among Humanities scholars in the Faculties of Arts, Law, and Education at UBC's Vancouver campus. There is an expectation that these clusters, once established, will seek additional funding in the form of VPRI-funded Grants for Catalyzing Research Clusters or SSHRC. CIHR Training Grant: Health Research Training Platform (HRTP) Pilot

The HRTP Pilot will support the development of research leaders of tomorrow by equipping trainees and early career researchers with the experiences and skills needed to lead high-impact, interdisciplinary health research careers in a rapidly evolving research landscape.The maximum amount per grant is $400,000 per year for up to six years. CIHR Team Grant: Food Security and Climate Change in the Canadian North

UBC Public Humanities Hub Public Engagement Award

Two new UBC prizes recognize public humanities engagement. One prize recognizes contributions of a tenured/tenure-track faculty member (research or educational leadership streams). CIHR Indigenous Gender and Wellness Team Grant

This funding opportunity is the third and final phase of a larger initiative for Indigenous-led teams to implement ideas through research and action-oriented, community-based participatory projects. The goal of these projects is to improve wellness for Indigenous Peoples from a gendered perspective. A total of $7,000,000 is available to fund approximately fourteen grants.
