What a month from Level Changes to a significant change in the weather. We hope you have weathered it well, have a supportive crew around you or are aware of the support that can be accessed if you need a helping hand.
Last year we worked with Good Bitches Baking on a custom SPRUCE cloth. Purchases of the cloth via their website help support their community teams and the goodness they can whip up. If you want to join or nominate someone click here.
"Good Bitches Baking is all about spreading a bit of sweetness in our communities. We aim to give a moment of happiness to people going through a tough time."
Yesterday was International Women's Day. I have an extraordinary generous amount of wonderful women around me for which I am forever grateful. I know this isn't always the case for all, so yesterday The Green Collective donated three Safe Nights to the Women's Refuge NZ as a way to help others. "Help the victims of family violence by booking a room for someone you’ll never meet, in a place you’ll hopefully never visit." Click here if you wish to do the same or know more.
Huge thank you to you all for your support.
Let's continue to support each other, other small businesses and raise a collective cheers to you x
The Green Collective started in Nelson, NZ at the end of 2014 and and is proudly stronger every year. All the products we stock we have designed and made. The two main focuses are; Quality Eco Products With Design Impact & Look At Products We Use Everyday And Improve Them.
'We' refers mostly to me, Emma. I have collaborations with designers and local sewers as a wider team, alongside very supportive friends and family, but day to day it's me. 'We' always sounded BIGGER and in many ways included my wider team. Lately, I have been more proud to say hello as myself.
My background is as a Physiotherapist. That has certainly helped shape the way I see the world. A desire to see people achieve their best, and reach their optimum health. Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well. Since 2010 I run a Pilates business in Nelson where I teach classes during the week. The perfect antidote to all the desk work required managing a small business! To me, this is creating a work life balance that is both sustainable and fun.
