Our destination spans both California and Nevada. As we navigate the challenges of a pandemic it is important for visitors to be aware of the different restrictions and requirements between the two states and counties.

Both the Nevada and California side of Tahoe South are open to travelers with COVID precautions in place. Masks are required in both states.

People dreaming of Lake Tahoe have a new digital resource for trip planning with ease at TahoeSouth.com. Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority recently launched the newly redesigned site. The enhanced version features wall-to-wall imagery with responsive mobile design all within a convenient and easy to read layout for consumers.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport Service Update

On June 3, 2021, American Airlines to start daily non-stop service between Reno and Charlotte, North Carolina.

On February 18, 2021, Allegiant Air will start non-stop flights between RNO and San Diego (SNA) (Thursdays and Sundays).

On March 5, 2021, American Airlines will resume non-stop daily flights between RNO and Los Angeles (LAX)

On January 2, 2021, JetBlue suspended non-stop flights between RNO and New York City (JFK). This flight will return on April 8, 2021.

On March 11, 2021, Southwest Airlines will start non-stop seasonal flights
between RNO and Houston Hobby (HOU) as a daily service.

On March 11, 2021, Southwest Airlines will start non-stop flights between
RNO and Long Beach (LGB) as a daily service.

On March 11, 2021, Southwest Airlines will start non-stop seasonal flights
between RNO and Chicago Midway (MDW) as a daily service.

On January 6, 2021, Southwest Airlines suspended non-stop flights between
RNO and LAX. This flight will return on March 7, 2021.

Volaris offers non-stop flights between RNO and Guadalajara (GDL) four times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Shuttle service from Reno-Tahoe International Airport could not be easier with service on the South Tahoe Airporter direct to Tahoe South in just about an hour.  Need your own schedule? Try South Tahoe Airporter's new Door to Door service.

National Hockey League Came to Lake Tahoe

NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe was a series of two outdoor regular season National Hockey League games, held on the weekend of February 20–21, 2021. Both games were played without fans in a stadium on the 18th fairway of the Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe.
