Loving ourselves looks different from day to day. That is especially true if we are on a path to trying to be better.
For those of us who have a recovery program, showing ourselves love can often vary from allowing ourselves to get angry, or even violent, to having a donut.
At the end of the day, however, (and this is how we know we are really loving ourselves) can we take responsibility for it all. This is not easy for anyone but if we can approach that conversation without personal judgment we can relieve ourselves of a lot of rejection. Allowing ourselves to be who we are and demonstrating that we are able to be loved as we are.
Doing this opening us up to loving and accepting ourselves deeper every day.

If anyone has any ideas, or knows any publishers or literary agents I am taking little steps every day to get my book "Recover Yourself: Refocusing Your Life Now That You're Sober" published.
