Things will eventually go back to normal with the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, but it will take some time before widespread immunity is achieved. There are several questions we need to ask ourselves before we plan our next travel. In this seminar, you will get to interact with experienced professionals in travel security and get key learning points for planning your next business travel abroad. Travel security in light of COVID-19

One thing we know for certain after 2020 is that online meetings and seminars are here to stay. However, business travel is still an important and necessary part of our economy and market.

Things will eventually go back to normal with the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, but it will take some time before widespread immunity is achieved. There are several questions we need to ask ourselves before we plan our next travel:

  • When will I be able to travel safely again?
  • Will there be an international vaccine pass?
  • What is the employer duty of care regarding COVID-19?
  • What do I need to do to stay healthy when on the road?
  • What do I need to know about airline and hotel policies?

  • Travel passes initiatives - What does IATA do and what are their expectations for International solutions
  • How will the travel experience be with Travel Pass
  • David Rutnam, Senior Manager Industry Distribution Programs Adoption and Nuria Fermoso, Manager Passenger Experience Europe will present

10.30 – 10.50 Cato Stensland and George Mackenzie Smith from Trygg

  • Duty of Care: When an incident occurs, it is of utmost importance to have planned in advance. The planning itself might be quality work but often lacking in execution. How do you plan for the execution of strategy and make sure all relevant parties have the same understanding and information to best solve any problem?
  • Through cases and experiences, Stensland and Mackenzie Smith will address how to report incidents efficiently through a mass messaging system - when danger is imminent.
