Call for Speakers

Call for Speakers: Are you an industry professional with something to share? IGDA NYC is looking for speakers for our IGDA NYC Talks series. We're interested in presentations on all topics related to game development and from diverse individuals of marginalized backgrounds. For the foreseeable future, we'll be hosting the events live on our Discord server and streaming them on both our local IGDA YouTube and on occasion the main IGDA Twitch channel. Please submit a short bio and a synopsis of your presentation, along with links to videos (if available) to nyc@igda.org.

News and updates from the mothership.

2021 Developer Satisfaction Survey- The IGDA team needs YOU to fill out the Developer Satisfaction Survey! This study is about the composition and work experiences of folks who work in and around the game industry. Anyone who is involved in the game industry may take part in this survey, including academics and students, contractors, the self-employed, indies, journalists, hobbyists, streamers, eSports, etc. (The survey has been updated to change some problematic language and the IGDA has issued an apology.)

Applications are open for the IGDA Foundation Diverse Game Developers Fund for financial support in building a game prototype focused on alternative methods of monetization, and to students of marginalized backgrounds to create games or game-related projects worldwide.. (Deadline March 15th)
