It starts with a fun hobby or simple good intentions: a collection of figurines that grows over the years, a thrifter who stockpiles discounted goods or clothing, or the noble notion that every item can stay out of the landfill by being repurposed.

However, when our collections overwhelm our homes, it’s hard to keep conditions clean and enjoy our living spaces. The above photo is from a current client who we are in the process of helping to declutter.

While Everyday Hands are not professional organizers or social workers, we are an extra pair of hands and an accountability partner for people who are willing to shed some of their “stuff” and/or get better organized. We show up, tidy up, and help our clients enjoy healthier living environments.

Here to help,
Lauren

LEARN MORE

Everyday Hands had an especially organic and home-grown beginning. After surviving breast cancer and spending 25 years in Corporate America, I decided that it was time for a change. In 2016, I began helping my neighbors, friends, and loved ones with ordinary everyday tasks—sitting with an elderly neighbor for companionship, picking up prescriptions, getting kids on their morning bus, and even delivering forgotten lunch boxes to school.

Within a short amount of time other people began to call on me for similar assistance. I quickly realized that not only did I have a passion for helping people, but also there is a significant need in our community for help with “the small stuff.”

I truly love what I do and the satisfaction that I get from helping people is incredibly fulfilling!
