The SoFA Dog Park is officially open daily from 7 am - 8 pm. Bring home art from ICA's flash sale to decorate your home. Also, get tax tips and see if you're eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting next week.

#DTSJ Restaurants - Devine x Academic Coffee
Start off your weekend mornings with a delightful stroll around downtown, stopping by Devine for brunch!

Devine Cheese & Wine now serves brunch on Sundays from 10 am - 2 pm, featuring delicious coffee from Academic Coffee and mimosas from Brown Bag Speakeasy. Devine is still serving Tuesday through Saturday from 5 - 9 pm. 
Arts - ICA Flash Sale
This Sunday, the ICA is hosting a socially distanced outdoor art sale. Browse and take your pick of donated work from past auctions, prints from the ICA print center, exhibition catalogs and art books. Prices will be very low and there will even be a free section. Open 10 am - 12 pm for ICA members and 12 - 2 pm for the general public. Must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Details.
As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, the Children's Discovery Museum compiled a list of children's readings from their favorite authors. Share these magical tales and biographies with your little ones. 
Outdoor Activities - SoFA Pocket Park Now Open
The SoFA Pocket Park's dog park officially opened last week! This park located at 540 S First St. in downtown San Jose is a new and inviting area for dog owners and their dogs to stop by on their daily walks and hang out with other dogs and dog owners. You'll find separate playing areas for big and small dogs, benches, sanitizing stations, waste bags and water bowls. Open daily from 7 am - 8 pm for your pups to play and run around. Masks required on humans.
Other Essentials - Tax Tips & COVID-19 Vaccine
It's tax season! No one enjoys doing their taxes, so certified financial planner Jennipher Lommen is here to give you some tips. This Tuesday at 6 pm, join this virtual event presented by the San Jose Public Library to get organized for tax season and learn about important deadlines and some of the major tax law changes. Registration required.

Beginning this Sunday, Feb. 28, healthcare providers in Santa Clara County will expand vaccination to workers in the following industries: education and childcare, food and agriculture, and emergency services. Find out if you or someone you know is eligible for the vaccine here.

San Jose Love Stories - Thank You, Umi Handroll Bar
San Jose Love Stories highlight acts of kindness by our community for our community.

Umi Handroll Bar at SoFA Market has been working hard to feed hundred of meals to immunocompromised and underserved communities all over Santa Clara Countyeach day, in addition to serving their regular customers. Umi has been doing these acts of kindness since the beginning of the pandemic. Back in April 2020, they showed their gratitude to frontline and essential workers by donating boxes of their delicious rolls. 

We want to thank Umi for helping those hit hardest by COVID-19. If you would like to help write this Love Story, please show Umi your support by stopping by the SoFA Market for their delicious handcrafted rolls.  
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks are back in town this week for their home games. Tune into NBCSCA or ATTSN-RM to watch them take on the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday at 7:30 pm. On Saturday at 7:30 pm, they're going up against the St. Louis Blues, on NBCSCA and FS-MW. Full schedule.

After several pop-ups at Paper Moon Coffee in #DTSJ, Plant Cultura San Jose has opened their own brick and mortar on West San Carlos Street. Visit them and follow on Instagram to check out their vast collection of houseplants. San Jose Jazz launched the Jazz Aid Fund to provide grants to local artists to create new work during shelter-in-place. You can listen to some of the recently released tracks now and San Jose Jazz will premiere more finished work via their social media throughout the year. City Lights Theater Company’s The Next Stage presents a free live episode of queer soap opera Victoria’s Place this Thurday with a special bonus for Next Stage members.
