COVID-19 Briefing: Feb. 22

The governor announced since Friday another 2,233 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 out of 86,401 tested, bringing the total number of cases to 275,334. The statewide positivity rate was 2.58%. Another 39 deaths from coronavirus-associated causes were reported, bringing the total to 7,562. The number of patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 decreased by 35, bringing the total to 500.
