Middle School Retreat deadline! While $50 payment is not due until March 19, online registration at the synodyouth.org website needs to be submitted by this Wednesday morning to reserve your spot. Over half of our youth group kids are already signed up, but any friend can come too! The Middle School Retreat is April 9-11 at Hidden Acres in Dayton, IA, more retreat information can be found here.
Our Wednesday night youth groups have a new series for Lent called, “Blood & Guts”. In this four week focus we'll walk through the book of Hebrews, introducing students to key theological concepts in an engaging and practical way. The impact of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is most clearly understood when seen in the context of the Old Testament sacrificial system (blood). We also want to help students see how to live out the practical side of what Hebrews means for them (having “guts”).
