Artificial intelligence for dementia prevention: EU funding for Norwegian led project

AI-Mind is a 5-year project funded by Horizon 2020, with the goal of facilitating a paradigm shift in clinical practice, is starting on March 1, 2021. AI-Mind will create intelligent digital tools for screening of brain connectivity and dementia risk estimation in people affected by mild cognitive impairment.

The aim of this project is to improve interviews with maltreated children through a training program using realistic and interactive child avatars.

OsloMet - Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Text Mining and Machine Learning-based systems for the automation of systematic research literature reviews

A temporary Postdoctoral Fellow position in the field of ‘Machine Learning and text mining’ is offered for the period of 2 years in the Department of Computer Science at Oslo Metropolitan University.

The candidate will work on a project entitled “Machine Learning-based systems for the automation of systematic literature reviews in food safety domain” funded by the EEA and Norway Grants. The project is a collaboration between different partners including Warsaw University of Technology, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and Oslo Metropolitan University.

The project addresses developing Artificial Intelligence based tools that would reduce the use of time and human resources in the area of Systematic Literature Review (SLR).

OsloMet - MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship on Artificial Intelligence

OsloMet is looking for candidates to join the OsloMet’s Artificial Intelligence Lab and the Nordic Center for Sustainable and Trustworthy AI Research (NordSTAR). We hereby invite top-class researchers of any nationality, who have obtained a PhD degree and up to eight years of research experience after PhD, to apply for an EU-funded Marie Skłodowska Curie Action Postdoctoral Fellowship (call MSCA-PF-2021) to conduct research at OsloMet - Oslo Metropolitan University for a period of two years.

UiS - Stipendiat i språkmodellering for Explainable AI

Universitetet i Stavanger har ledig stilling som stipendiat i språkmodellering for Explainable AI ved Det teknisk- naturvitenskapelige fakultet, Institutt for data- og elektroteknologi. Stillingen er ledig fra 1. august 2021.

Dette er en utdanningsstilling som i hovedsak skal gi lovende forskere anledning til faglig utvikling. Stillingen har forskerutdanning fram til doktorgrad som mål.

Stipendiaten ansettes for en periode på tre år med ren forskerutdanning eller fire år med forskerutdanning og 25% arbeidsplikt. Dette blir avklart i rekrutteringsprosessen.

Stillingen er finansiert av SFI-en NorwAI, det nye åtteårige forskningssenteret for innovasjon i kunstig intelligens (AI), som inkluderer Norges sterkeste forskningsmiljøer på kunstig intelligens og data science, og flere av de mest ambisiøse industriaktørene i Norge.

Formålet med senteret er å utvikle banebrytende teorier, metoder og teknologier for effektiv og ansvarlig utnyttelse av data-drevet kunstig intelligens i innovative, industrielle løsninger.

UiS - Stipendiat i bildebehandling og maskinlæring
