Irrigation Switch - Sod Update
Dear Bishops Gate Residents:
Beginning today, you will see St. Augustine sod going into the areas that were disturbed during waste water construction. The weather and soil temps are getting to the place where we will see more growth upon install so makes sense to do it now.
We have checked and repaired irrigation on 100% of the units in advance of bringing in this sod. Additionally, the BGSS team will be providing the 'in-house' labor to save costs, and we are sourcing the sod locally.
Also beginning on Monday March 1st, Mark will lead the implementation of switching over the remaining 8 irrigation connections for landscape irrigation from potable water to the lake well. He and TS have researched each connection and the various requirements in terms of access and parts and have provided that list to the HOA in advance. We will purchase the parts using BGSS existing supplier relationships to again try and save a bit on costs.
Mark and TS will aim to average one connection per week until completion, with some being more straightforward and some being quite complex.
