2021 CDBG-DR Problem Solving Clinic Canceled | 2021 CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Virtual Training Series Announcement

Canceled: 2021 CDBG-DR Problem Solving Clinic

Due to COVID-19 and related travel and event limitations, HUD has decided to cancel the upcoming 2021 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Problem Solving Clinic in Chicago on March 30 - April 1, 2021.

HUD encourages CDBG-DR and CDBG Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees to instead participate in the 2021 CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Virtual Training Series which will be taking place throughout 2021. HUD anticipates providing a comprehensive training curriculum for grantees utilizing virtual delivery platforms and training styles. This training approach will allow grantees to continue to obtain and share CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT information.

Announcement: 2021 CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Virtual Training Series

The Disaster Recovery and Special Issues Division (DRSI) is hosting a comprehensive virtual training series for CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grantees to provide training for the diverse array of grantee programs to date.

CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Grantee Led Sessions will be offered first to allow grantees to share their best practices/lessons learned related to hot topic issues within the grant program. These virtual sessions will be delivered between 1:00 - 5:00 PM EDT during the dates of the canceled Clinic – March 30 through April 1. A detailed schedule with session times and topics will be announced soon, in the meantime, please continue to hold these dates for your CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT learning.

Additional virtual training sessions are also being planned to cover topics that would have been addressed at the canceled Clinic. More information on upcoming trainings for grantees will be announced in the future.
