San Leanna Boil Water Advisory LIFTED!
Our water samples have returned negative for any bacteria or microbial contamination. You may resume drinking Village of San Leanna water without boiling.
If you have not been using the tap since our pressure loss and boil notice, you may need to flush the lines by running cold water for a few minutes. There may be sediment or discolored water from the opening and closing of valves last week, but there is no systemic reason you should be experiencing a change in water quality - especially if you have been using the water in the interim.
If you have a water quality issue, please contact the office, and we can troubleshoot the issue.
Village of San Leanna Boil Water Notice Rescinded
2/23/2021
On February 17, 2021, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Village of San Leanna public water system, PWS TX2270071, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 23, 2021.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Rebecca Howe at 512-280-3898 or email village@sanleannatx.com.
