The new Biden administration faces a variety of challenges and a rapidly changing environment will exacerbate many of the challenges. With opportunities to make progress in geopolitically sensitive regions, there are also risks of environmental conflicts.
Please join the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and the Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Program, with moderator Richard Matthew from the UCI Blum Center, for a discussion on the potential opportunities and risks the new administration will need to navigate in the coming years.

Made with Love at UCI
"We plan to assemble & donate 40 customized care packages to OC Rescue Mission, a shelter that provides provisional assistance to those in need in Tustin. The care packages will include some of their urgent need items such as soap, socks, and COVID-19 supplies (e.g. disinfectant wipes) and handmade items like a reusable face mask!" - Jennifer Nguyen

Prison Education Project at UCI
"In collaboration with the Prison Education Project (PEP) at UCI, new books will be donated to juvenile facilities in Southern California. Through access to education and communal support, humans who are currently incarcerated have significant opportunities to reduce recidivism, develop wider consciousness that ultimately contributes to economic and civic life, and partake in the personal and social liberation of the oppressed." - Jillian Dela Cruz
