NGJ Underground Mail

The Help Meet group on Facebook took a blow this week. One of our sweet ladies who helps direct the group was blocked, which means the group might go next. They moved to thehiddenhelpmeet.wordpress.com. Hopefully, that site will stay up, but if it is banned too, we will go to snail mail. I told the ladies on FB to send their names and addresses to NGJ to be put on a Help Meet group list so if social media sites close to Christian groups, we can still send the ladies newsletters by snail mail.

Things in the government are changing so fast that I had to ask myself, “And what if the US mail removes the discounted postage for ministries or creates some restrictions? How could we continue?” This sounds crazy and I am almost amused writing it, BUT, it is wise to have a plan.

Would you like to volunteer to be a part of the NGJ underground if the need arises? If the US mail does make it difficult for the ministry to mail magazines we would need people who could distribute 300, or 2000 or any number (you decide what you can do) of magazines in their area. We could pack the magazines in innocent-looking boxes and send to the underground volunteers who will be responsible to hand deliver them to churches, groups, or other volunteer distributors. No need for the underground as long as we can continue operating, but, if needed, having a list of volunteers would make the continuance seamless. Are you ready?

Contact our office and we will put you on our list to get a nice box of magazines, if it ever comes to that. If the time comes, we will first contact you by snail mail to see if you are in a position to function as a distributor of free printed Christian literature.
