HERE IS HIGHLAND’S SUNDAY SCHEDULE

- 8:40am Streamed music/sermon in the Chapel (mask-required)
- 8:40am Life Center
- 10am Chapel with live music and streamed sermon*
- 10am Life Center
- 11:20am Life Center
- All of these Gatherings can be watched live at hbcwaco.org or on the Highland app. 
*We are asking Knowing Jesus ABF, Anderson CG, Sykora CG, and Judy CG to attend the 10am Chapel Gathering.  

We begin a new series this Sunday called Where There’s Smoke. Join us as we see what God’s Word says about depression, anxiety, and anger.

FIVE WAYS TO GIVE
In response to God's generosity, and as a way to support many platforms of ministry and missions at Highland, we provide five ways to give: 1) Text giving at 254-220-4845  2) Give at the kiosks set up in the Lobby 3) Baskets and drop-boxes on Sundays 4) Set up recurring giving so your giving is planned and purposeful by clicking the button 5) Give through the HBC Waco app.

WELLNESS CENTER UPDATE
 As we continue to move forward with the physical building, we also continue to move ahead with our current ministries. We still need to raise $318,038 to finish out the project. If the Lord puts it on your heart to give this week, would you consider doing so? We cannot wait to open the doors of this new building for ministry all around our neighborhood! MEDICAL DEBT PAYOFF

Highland has a goal of raising $75,000 to eliminate $8 million of medical debt in the Greater Waco area. Pick up a Giving Jar in the Life Center and team up with your family or roommates to fill the jar. Exchange loose change at the bank and return cash only to Highland by April 4. From now through April 4, anything given to “Missions” by text or online on a Sunday will go directly toward the Medical Debt Payoff Project. For more information, go HERE
BABY DEDICATION
 
Our next Baby Dedication will be Sunday, Mar. 14, in all Gatherings. Register and submit information by Mar. 8 HERE, or contact Amy-Granger@hbcwaco.org
STUDENT UPDATES
 
We will continue to meet for Student Connection on Sunday at 10am in grade specific classrooms.

Join us Wednesday, Mar. 3, from 6:30-8pm, in the Chapel for Table! We will enjoy food, fellowship, and a teaching from Jordan McKinney, so you won’t want to miss it! 
COUNTDOWN TO MARRIAGE

Legacy Family Ministry is offering another 6-week Countdown To Marriage class beginning Sunday, March 28. We are also offering another Spring Weekender, May 22-23. 
LITTLE YEARS

Join us for our next playdate on Monday, Mar. 1, from 9-11am, at Little Land Play Gym in Hewitt. Pre-registration is not required. Just bring your little ones and enjoy some fellowship. For more information, email thelittleyears@hbcwaco.org
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL UPDATE

VBS Mystery Island for all Kindergarten-5th Grade students is June 14-18, 9:30am-12:15pm. Register HERE
PRETEEN CAMP

Mark your calendars for Preteen Camp for all 3rd-5th Grade students. We will be going to Mt. Lebanon Camp in Cedar Hill June 28-July 2. Registration will begin in March. For more information, go HERE

FOSTER/ADOPTION GRANT APPLICATION
 
If you are on a fostering/adopting journey and can use some financial assistance along the way, contact Jamie-Hipp@hbcwaco.org for more information and an application. All applications will be reviewed by a grant council on a quarterly basis. The first upcoming application deadline for 2021 will be Saturday, Mar. 20.
PRAY FOR NIGERIAN PASTOR 
 
Pray for our dear brother who is a pastor in Nigeria and is currently under constant threat of his life because of the gospel. He was so blessed by his recent visit to Highland. Pastor said that he was greatly encouraged by our prayers and support of his family in this season. May we remain faithful in praying for his family this month as he has returned home to Nigeria. Pray that God would grant them the strength to stand firm in the face of opposition and persecution. 
PRAY FOR GLOBAL MINISTRY PARTNERS
 
 
Pray for our ministry partners, whom we will call Paul and Laura, serving in Belarus. While the constitution of the country says it grants religious liberty, in practice many Christians find harsh persecution. Recently, a church our friends are connected with was threatened and harassed. Pray the Lord would grant the church perseverance and that they would have a renewed fervor for Him as they continue to love and minister to their neighbors and persecutors. 
SHORT-TERM INTERNATIONAL MISSION TEAMS
 
Highland's aim is to be ready to send teams out as soon as the world opens back up for travel. We tentatively have a few teams scheduled to travel in 2021. Be proactive today by filling out an application. We are remaining fluid and flexible with our planning, but eagerly await opportunities to take His Gospel to the nations!
