PeopleSoft HCM and Brexit 

We featured the ERP post covering Brexit a couple of weeks back, and this is the HCM equivalent. Julie Alonso breaks out the implications for us.

Server Directory Viewer

Ernst la Haye from CY2 alerted us that they're shared their PeopleSoft Directory Viewer on GitHub. It's a really handy development which allows you to view and manage files residing on PeopleSoft servers directly from within the PIA.

Making Tax Digital 

PeopleSoft supports all the requirements for the UK's new 'Making Tax Digital' initiative, except for the VAT return submission directly to HMRC. Sonal Patel discusses Version 1's new development which fills this gap - automating the end-to-end process.

Disabling the Notification Badge 

Sasank tackles a question he found on a forum where someone wanted to disable the push notifications badge from showing the incremental counter. It's an 'edge case' requirement, however he found a couple of ways to achieve the aim.

A 'did you know?' on Search Keys

Did you know that a PeopleSoft Component will pass Search Keys from one to another as the user navigates? We we found recently that this doesn't work in PeopleTools 8.58 if the Components are in a Navigation Collection. Graham Smith shares his ideas on solving this problem.
