ParaVolley events set for 2021
World ParaVolley returns to action this year with exciting tournaments to look forward to, including the much-anticipated Paralympic Games.
Before the Summer Games, we complete the Tokyo 2020 men’s cast with the Sitting Volleyball Men’s Final Paralympic Qualification Tournament from June 1 to 5 in Duisburg, Germany.
Two months later, the Paralympic Games will take place in Tokyo, Japan from August 27 to September 5. The preliminary round be from August 27 to September 1. The men’s semifinals and classification matches are slated on September 2, while the women’s final four will be on September 3.
The Paralympic final of the men’s and women’s events will be on September 4 and 5, respectively.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee (Tokyo 2020) published the Playbooks, a resource which outlines the personal responsibilities key stakeholders must take to play their role in ensuring safe and successful Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer. The World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball 40 years 1980-2020: commemorative booklet (e-ISBN: 978-952-94-4074-0) is available to download for free on the new history section of the World ParaVolley website. WADA launches new e-learning course for athletes and coaches heading to Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games
With just under seven months to go until the start of the postponed Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to launch a new education course on its Anti-Doping Education and Learning platform (ADEL), specifically designed for athletes and coaches aiming to attend the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Florida region pledges financial support for USA Volleyball Beach ParaVolley programme
The Florida Region of USA Volleyball is proud to announce a $100,000 private donation from the Norelli Family Foundation to support USAV Beach ParaVolley (BPV) programming at Hickory Point Beach in Tavares, FL for the 2021‐2024 quad. Additionally, the Florida Region is also pleased to announce that Hickory Point Beach (HPB) will become a National Training Site for the USA Volleyball BPV programme. Read more
