Get involved in the Brimbank COVID-19 recovery - Apply for a Brimbank Stage 2 Community Recovery Grant

Council is offering one off Community Recovery Grants to support new or the expansion of existing innovative community-led and community based initiatives.
 
This will support the community’s COVID-19 recovery and strengthen community resilience. Read more.
Sunshine Leisure Centre achieves platinum safety standard

Our Sunshine Leisure Centre has been accredited with Life Saving Victoria’s prized Platinum Pool award – becoming one of just 40 pools across the state to achieve the award for outstanding safety levels.
 
Platinum Pool status is awarded to aquatic centres that provide outstanding levels of safety, including the best possible standard of supervision by lifeguards and other staff. Read more.

20 March - Pop Up Drive Through Recycling Day 

Do you have unwanted items that are too big or too good to throw out? Clean out your home, load up the car or trailer and take unwanted items to the ‘Pop-Up Drive Through and Recycling Day’ at Victoria University in St Albans on Saturday 20 March, 8am-1pm.

This will be a COVID safe event and registration is preferred. Register or find out more

Service in Focus: Brimbank Leisure Centre Teams

Sunshine Leisure Centre and St Albans Pop-up Gym provide access to over 22,000 community members every month. 

With over 60 group fitness classes and 1400 students enrolled in the Swim School Program, Sunshine Leisure Centre and St Albans Pop-Up Gym are key community facilities that focus on the health and wellbeing of residents across Melbourne’s western metropolitan region.

Good neighbours vital for health of rare grasslands
 
Brimbank boasts grassland reserves that are home to some of Victoria’s rare and endangered animals and plants.

Sadly, less than one per cent of Brimbank’s native grasses and wildflowers remains since colonisation. The need to protect what is left for Brimbank’s unique plants and animals is essential. Read more.

Helping our residents is important to us.

Our Customer Service Centres in Sunshine and Keilor are open (Monday to Friday, 8.45am-5pm) with social distancing restrictions in place. To protect the health and safety of both our staff and community, your compliance would be appreciated.

Our Watergardens Customer Service remains temporarily closed.

For your convenience, besides visiting our Keilor or Sunshine Service Centres, there are other ways you can contact us.

These include giving us a call on 9249 4000 between the hours of 8.45am and 5pm Monday to Friday, emailing us on info@brimbank.vic.gov.au, visiting our website, using Brimbank Chat, or if you have something to report you can use our online Report It tool at brimbank.vic.gov.au/report-it.
