Writers @ LPL - Virtual
[GoToMeeting | Wed, Mar 3 @ 5:30pm]

Writers @ LPL is a writing group hosted by Lakeland Public Library

March's Topic
Wanna Write? Read!

In 2021, Writers @ LPL is taking an active approach to writing. Each session we’ll discuss writing-related topics but the focus will be on putting words on the page.

You wanna write?  Well, you gotta read. In his book On Writing, Stephen King tells us reading and writing go together. Why? Because the best writing comes from a mind marinated in story.  Come to our March meeting with a passage from a book you’re reading - that is not a book you’ve written - and have it handy during the meeting.  We'll discuss the best way to use reading to write your best.

Please register for this GoToMeeting meet up.
