Click to listen to The Banh Mi Chronicles Podcast on A Community to Heal with CMAA Executive Director.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, we sent out cards to our supporters to express our appreciation.
If you would like to help the families affected by the recent fire incident, CMAA, Community Teamwork, Inc., Lowell Alliance, YWCA Lowell, NFI Family Resource Center of Lowell, and others are collecting clothes and supplies for the individuals and families affected. You can check the complete list of supplies at bit.ly/lcma and drop off your donations at CMAA too.
Wrap-Around Services
Despite Covid-19, CMAA never closes our door and continues to provide supports for our community. To ensure that everyone is safe and proper Covid-19 guidelines are in place, the appointment-based system for direct services is applied. At least 104 community members were assisted in person, and 305 more by phone.

CMAA is honored to be a part of a coalition called Asian CARES, which is conducting a research on gambling in the asian community. We are looking for community members to take part in this study. For eligibility, please see the flyer below.
Civic Engagement
CMAA civic engagement team continues to educate the community and ensure that everyone is informed of the opportunities to get involved such as weekly civic engagement newsletter and hosting virtual civic education workshops.
CMAA is honored to be a part of the effort in making sure that everyone is counted in the Census 2020. Thank you The U.S. Census Bureau for the recognition. CMAA is grateful for being a partner in this milestone event.
Youth Program
Currently, we have 12 students as part of the After School Program. In the month of February, in addition to Khmer Culture, the youth had the opportunities to get involved in three other activities. February is the Black History Month, therefore we dedicated one session of our program to educate the youth about Black History. We also took one session to celebrate Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day where youth were given red envelopes, which represent good luck and chocolates.

We are also excited to announce that we are now accepting application for our CMAA Youth Scholarship program until May 1st, 2021. This program aims to give the opportunities to improve the quality of life for young high school students particularly to help with academic and career goal after graduating from high school.
Monorom Family Support Program
Monorom families continue to receive assistance from CMAA. Thanks to partnership with UTEC, Monorom families are provided with food every week.

To celebrate Valentine's Day with them, CMAA also sent all members a Valentine's Day card.
