We’re excited to announce that the TRACTION CEO Bike Build is on for 2021, and we'd love you to be part of it!

Many of our young people say that meeting their CEO is a highlight of their TRACTION experience. If you’d like to learn more about the event, watch our recap of the 2020 event HERE.

To be part of the CEO Bike Build, community leaders &/or their organisations contribute at least $5,000 to TRACTION, to help us reach more young people in need.

We know it’s a team effort, so you will be provided with a fundraising webpage and posters for your workplace, to assist you in raising funds and mobilising support.

There are limited places, so don’t miss out! We sincerely appreciate your support for TRACTION, and look forward to seeing you “on the tools”.

About TRACTION
TRACTION is a not-for-profit community focused program that empowers vulnerable young people, building their resilience, teamwork and leadership skills in preparation for future learning and work.

About the CEO Bike Build
The CEO Bike Build event will help “CEO participants” (leaders from the community – corporate, public and private sectors) experience first-hand the benefits of TRACTION programs, while directly helping empower young people in our community. Fuel for the build provided by Merlo and Chop Chop Chang’s.

The process
As part of a team, you will support a TRACTION participant to assemble a bicycle within a 3-hour time frame, with them as your leader. You will help get the job done, and along the way share your experiences, build rapport and give the TRACTION participant the opportunity to interact with an industry leader.

About the bike
At the completion of the event, the bikes will be donated back to TRACTION for a future participant to customise and keep as part of their program.
