El Sentido de la Birra és una programa d'entrevistes de diverses temàtiques (algunes científiques). Et recomanem una entrevista amb Diego Gutiérrez, catedrà-tic de Llenguatges i Sistemes Informàtics. Diego reflexiona que la Computació, igual que l'Estadística, pot arribar allà on no arriben altres disciplines.

Dins del GRBIO Divulga estem fent una recopilació de xerrades divulgatives en format de vídeo o pdf que haguem fet els membres del grup recentment i on el GRBIO hagi tingut un paper predominant. Seminari divulgatius de la SEB
El passat 12 de febrer va tenir lloc la primera xerrada del nou cicle de xerrades/ seminaris de la SEB a càrrec de Lupe Gómez. (podeu trobar els detalls d'aquesta xerrada en aquest enllaç). La SEB està buscant socis/sòcies que enviin possibles títols i idees per a les properes sessions. The advancement of scientific knowledge increasingly depends on ensuring that data‐driven research is reproducible. However, there are significant behavioral and technical challenges that impede its widespread implementation and no clear consensus on standards of what constitutes reproducibility in published research. The R package fertile focuses on a series of common mistakes programmers make while conducting data science projects in R. fertile operates, proactively, to prevent reproducibility mistakes, and retroactively, analyzing code that is already written for potential problems.

shinysurveys provides easy-to-use, minimalistic code for creating and deploying surveys in Shiny. Originally inspired by Dean Attali's shinyforms, the package provides a framework for robust surveys, similar to Google Forms, in R with Shiny.
shinysurveys was designed to be easy and intuitive. The app above only required ~30 lines of code, and like any Shiny app, you can deploy surveys remotely or run them on your local machine.
