Update: Updated special terms for EPIM JQS

A new version of terms for service has been published and is valid from March 24th 2021. All specified contract responsible parties have been informed of the updated terms. For full version of terms, refer to terms of services (Service terms).

Highlighted changes have been italicized in this newsletter:

8.1 Company Super User
Each User organisation must appoint and maintain a Company Super User, acting as the User organisation’s overall EPIM JQS administrator. These responsibilities include:

  • Being responsible for the company's administration of users and content in EPIM JQS.
  • Having the authority to act as main contact towards NOROG concerning the User organisation's use of the Service.
For Company Super Users representing a Supplier, responsibilities also include to ensure that all information registered into the Service is correct, ref. section 8.3.

8.3 Correct information
Each Supplier shall ensure that all information registered into the Service is correct. This shall be ensured by doing ad-hoc updates when required, in combination with a mandatory yearly review. The Supplier acknowledges that incorrect and/or missing information, and failure to update and review content will lead to that it will no longer be able to search for other Suppliers and their products and services within the Service until information have been provided and/or updated.

New feature: Company Status (Restricted)

On March 24th 2021, supplier companies that are not in compliance with the revised and updated special terms for EPIM JQS, will be highlighted with the status 'restricted' within EPIM JQS.

This status indicates that the affected company is not in compliance with service terms, and will temporarily lose access to certain features within EPIM JQS, such as supplier search.

The 'restricted' status will be removed, and access to restricted features will be restored, once the supplier is in compliance with the service terms. Typically, this means that the capability assessment must be answered in full and/or a product or service category must be registered in status 'actual'.

The 'restricted' status aims to mitigate supply chain risk, and to highlight companies that are not in compliance. It also aims to encourage 'restricted' suppliers to become compliant and finalize their respective registrations in EPIM JQS.
