GOT STRESS? We Can Help! 

This ongoing series is an opportunity for parents, caregivers and youth with disabilities across New York State to meet virtually and learn how mindfulness can help with change and planning for the future.  

Join us to learn strategies and techniques to reduce stress and for a chance to connect with other youth and their families.

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to whatever is happening in our lives, both inside and out.

Sessions every 2 weeks starting on March 18thth at 7 pm

Kids with ADHD have trouble with focus, impulsivity and, in some cases, hyperactivity. But for many kids with ADHD (also known as ADD), there’s another symptom that often isn’t mentioned — trouble managing emotions.

Online Learning: Parent Member Training

 
Participants will increase their knowledge and skills to become effective Parent Members during a CPSE/CSE meeting. Included will be informational will be provided about eligibility for special education services, education planning and goal setting, least restrictive environment and understanding the evaluation and placement process.
