Welding
Our welding students are currently working on MIG welding various joints.

MIG welding is an arc welding process in which a continuous solid wire electrode is fed through a welding gun and into the weld pool, joining the two base materials together. A shielding gas is also sent through the welding gun and protects the weld pool from contamination. In fact, MIG stands for metal inert gas. The technical name for it is gas metal arc welding, and the slang name for it is wire welding.
CNA Program
(Certified Nursing Assistant)
Here are a couple of fun pictures of our students trying thickened liquids in class. This gives students the patient's  perspective of what it is like to have to drink thickened liquids.
KEC offers a Barbering course through Legacy Academy PLLC. Jack Carpenter, a DeKalb High School junior, is the first student enrolled in it! Jack will not only make money during high school and college, but he'll also keep a fresh fade for his classmates.
