Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Church and at the Regional level we rely on the wisdom and God-given talents that committed United Church people bring to our committees and working groups. 
 
Right now we have five areas with openings, and we seek applications by March 31, 2021. These opportunities are not limited to church leaders and staff. All United Church people are invited to discern and apply for roles they feel called to.

The Nominations Committee looks forward to discerning who will serve in these roles. Thank you for considering yourself and sharing this invitation with others in your community and networks. Please also share through your church newsletters and worship slides or announcements.

How it works: information about specific opportunities and the details of the job will be shared regularly through the newsletter, website, social media, and more. Here’s the Nominations page, where all opportunities will be listed. We have a number of opportunities that will be posted over the next month, so please check it regularly.

Please consider your gifts and skills, and those of your friends and colleagues. You might feel as though you are answering a spiritual call when you express interest in one of these positions; or you might be encouraged by friends and colleagues who recognize that your abilities might be the gifts that are needed at this time. We recognize that makes us a stronger church, and we are committed to proactively addressing inequities and historic patterns of exclusion.
