Annual Meeting Key Speakers and Events

The Annual Meeting will be hosted online with Zoom in 2 sessions on March 19 and March 20, 2021.

7:30 PM: KIM CHURCHES, AAUW CEO will speak to our members

Saturday morning (3/20)

9:30 AM: Business Meeting with election of President & Branch Advocate

11:00 AM: Keynote speaker, ANITA EARLS, Associate Justice, NC Supreme Court

Town Hall for all members!
Wednesday Evening, March 24^th at 7:00 PM

Members are encouraged to participate in a Town Hall. This is an opportunity to hear about issues, such as AAUW By-Laws vote and dues, ask questions and think about where AAUW is headed in this 21^st century – after 130 years of promoting equity and equality for women.

The monthly virtual programs, You Have the Power, will resume in April. Check the AAUWNC website for updates about scheduled speakers.

Media Training for Branch Leaders

Using WordPress - Monday, March 29, 7:00 PM:  Website Development training is offered to AAUW Branch members who are interested in developing or enhancing their Branch’s website.

Social Media - Monday, April 26, 7:00 PM: Build your social media presence to provide the necessary communication for your members. Learn to use the proper tools to stay connected.
Electronic Newsletter - Monday, May 24, 7:00 PM: MailChimp allows you to send emails to hundreds of recipients all at once. It is essentially a tool you can use to create and manage newsletters.
