Good Morning,

As I sit here this morning writing to you, there are many things that bring me happiness.  Number 1: the sky is blue and the sun is shining - it feels so good to finally get multiple days of warm weather and sunshine.  This alone can help boost one’s mood for the better (also, warm weather allows our staff and students to be outside as much as possible).  Number 2: today is the day that most of our Rippowam staff are getting vaccinated, which takes our community one step closer to returning to life as we knew it prior to the pandemic.  And Number 3: next week is the week that we bring all of our in-person learners together 5 days a week.  I think it is incredible that this is happening just 1 year from when we abruptly were thrust into full distance learning with little to no preparation or knowledge of what was to come.  This has been a long time coming and I am extremely excited to bring our kids back to school full time and I know that our entire Ripp staff are as well.

I would like to remind everyone that Monday (3/15) and Tuesday (3/16) will be distance learning days for all students.  Instruction will be asynchronous (this means no live instruction) for all groups - Blue, Green and DTLA.

Hybrid students will all return to school, together, on Wednesday (3/17) and this will also be the day that DTLA resumes live virtual instruction.  DTLA families please be advised that beginning on the 17th, your children will have live instruction 5 days a week to match in-person instruction that is now every day.

This past Wednesday and Thursday I held live informational sessions on our reopening plans - thank you to everyone who joined.  If you did not get a chance to participate in the webinars, the information is posted on our school website.  For direct access to the links, please see below:
