Easter on the Lawn

|
For the first time, First Presbyterian Church Macon is hosting, Easter on the Lawn. This service will meet outside in front of the sanctuary on Easter morning at 10 AM. (one service only) Easter on the Lawn Worship Service was created as a safe alternative for anyone who is hesitant to worship indoors. We also love downtown Macon and want to offer an Easter service accessible to our downtown neighbors and anyone who would like to attend.
Mulberry St. will be closed off by the city for our service. Bring your own chair and spread out on the church lawn, the sidewalks, the street, or in Lamar Park (the shaded median area of Mulberry).
- Arrive at 9:30 for muffins, coffee, and fellowship.
- Service begins at 10 AM.
- Bring your own chair; be mindful of social distancing.
- Parking is available in our First Street parking lot and in the corner parking lot next to the Grand Opera House. (Corner of First Street and Mulberry).
- A nursery is available by registration only. Please email Lori Gillis at lgillis@fpcmacon.org.
- In case of rain: Indoor services will be held at 9 & 11 with COVID protocols in place.

| Mrs. bobbie Mares, missions closet |
|
| Please help us give a huge thank you to Mrs. Bobbie Mares for her faithful service to FPC missions. After 22 years, FPC will be closing its missionary closet that was started by Bobbie! It first started in the old Hays building, which was then torn down to build the education building. Since then, it has been moved over by the Brickyard. Bobbie has been faithfully serving the missionaries by finding out their exact needs and having those items ready when they came for our missions conference. She was diligent in her service and support of the missionaries and it brought her much joy! We celebrate your faithful service Mrs. Bobbie! |

| Ladies make plans to attend the FPC Ladies Retreat on August 27-29, 2021 at Lake Oconee. We are very excited that our speaker will be Carrie Everitt this year! The theme is "Envy & Coveting: Dressed Up Idols of Unbelief." Cost is $150; includes; conference, lodging and Sat. lunch. Register on Realm! |

| The FPC Good Friday Service will be held on April 2, at 12 noon in the sanctuary. There will be a nursery provided for children 3K and under. |

| FPD OPEN HOUSE |
First Presbyterian Day School invites member of First Presbyterian Church to their 3K – 8th grade Open House on Tuesday, March 30 from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Since its founding by First Presbyterian Church, First Presbyterian Day School continues to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory. With a nationally-recognized curriculum taught from a biblical worldview by godly mentors, FPD provides students with the foundation they need to lead with confidence, reach their goals, and serve others. Stop by for a tour of campus, meet teachers and students, and explore the Christ-centered, academically-strong opportunities for you children at FPD.
As a reminder, members of First Presbyterian Church are eligible for a FPC Tuition Scholarship for FPD enrollment. For more information about the FPC Tuition Scholarship, campus tours, and applying for enrollment, contact Kris Vaughn, FPD Director of Admissions, @ kris.vaughn@fpdmacon.org.

All current 6-8th graders are invited on a day trip to Perimeter Presbyterian in Atlanta to participate in their low ropes course and laser tag, April 17th.
This is in lieu of the LEDGE that normally happens this time of year. This will be a great time get to know each other and get them excited for the EDGE on June 21-25!
Meet at church at 10am! Wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle! Bring money for lunch!
