Keep Women in the Workforce

Throughout March, we bring focus and awareness to the social contributions women have made and continue to make in society as a part of Women's History Month. We take the opportunity to also evaluate the new challenges that the pandemic has brought to women in the workplace. According to the National Women’s Law Center, only 57% of women in the U.S. are working or looking for work right now—the lowest rate since 1988. Women have left the workforce to manage a household where everything from daycare, school, elder care, and work all take place under the same roof. In a new research from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), one in 5 workers in the U.S. know a woman who has voluntarily left the workforce during the pandemic because of such responsibilities. As a women-owned business, Gotcha Covered HR has the expertise to support and evaluate the flexible options your business can offer women to prevent them from leaving the workplace.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

Celebrating International Women's Day with amazing women in SE Louisiana!

In honor of International Women’s Day, iHeart Radio host Casey Carter chatted with six amazing women leaders from Southeast Louisiana about their path to success and what drives them.

“I was expecting to speak to some incredible women... and I certainly got that! But what I wasn't expecting was the sense of pride I got from talking to each and every one of these amazing ladies...the strength that every one of them gained during the pandemic...by the time all was said and done, I was standing on top of a proverbial mountain yelling "WOMEN CAN DO ANYTHING!"
