We all know too well that sound of a rock hitting the paint on the highway, or the scraping of body panels when we get a little too close to a solid object. It can haunt you and make your teeth clench. But many times we can address these mishaps without a trip to the body shop for repainting. We regularly perform small paint chip retouching, and can in many cases make it look many times better, all while saving hundreds on a repaint. While touch-ups will never be as good as a respray, we can make them look relatively good from a few feet away. For many clients, this is acceptable. From rock impacts to sideswipes, our approach can vary. Check out our video below showcasing a moderate scrape touch-up. While not 100% perfect by any means, it is somewhat disguised now, and looks better than before.

 

When rock chips happen, we can usually address them as singular isolated areas on most cars.

But when your vehicle is regularly exposed to higher chances of "sand blasting" or rock chips from highway driving or driving in other areas of the country with dirtier roads, it can add up to a very unsightly appearance. This is where PPF or Paint Protection Film comes in...

PPF is great at fending off rock chips and sand blasting, and helps to protect the original paintwork underneath. It's invisible once applied, and lasts for years. Once it gets damaged, it can be removed and new pieces can be installed.
