Safeguarding health of UFV researchers, students, and participants priority #1 as we look ahead to fall reopening
|
|
There's palpable excitement in UFV's research community.
We're anxious to get back into the field, provide hands-on experience to student RAs, and have meaningful face-to-face contact with participants.
The Research Office is here to help you understand and navigate protocols which are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all people involved in UFV research activities.
Keeping these protocols in mind -- even as we feel a collective sense of relief as more of our loved ones are being vaccinated against Covid -- is important. And you don't have to go at it alone!
By working with the UFV Research Office team, you are better able to protect yourself legally and financially, steward great relationships with partners and funders, promote your projects, and continue growing your capacity to do research that sparks joy and makes a difference.
Email regs@ufv.ca with any research-related questions and we will pass it along to someone who can help. We're in this together!

Celebrating 60 UFV scholars who've recently been published
|
|
Over 100 recent publications by UFV faculty members are available to explore in an online showcase.
The webpage is an online adaption of the UFV Research Office's biennial "Faculty Publication Celebration," which shines a light on UFV professors who have published research, creative, and scholarly works over the previous two years.
60 contributors submitted 125 works to this year's event, nearly doubling participation from 2019. The total includes nine books (authored and co-edited), 21 book chapters, and 83 journal articles, as well as book reviews, major reports, pieces of visual art and film, and grant-funded exhibitions.
The Research Office will begin adding more content to this "living showcase" over the coming weeks by spotlighting individual contributors on social media, and sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the contributors themselves.
Keep an eye out for this content by following us on Twitter or Facebook. We'll be sharing content with the hashtags #UFVresearch and #UFVPublicationCelebration!
