AGM, meetings, news, updates and reminders

April 2021

Highgate Society Annual General Meeting

The 2021 AGM will take place on Tuesday 18th May at 7.30 pm.  The guest speaker will be John Plews of Upstairs at the Gatehouse and Ovation Productions. To view the formal notice and agenda click here.

Attendance at the  AGM will be mainly online. There will be separate arrangements for those who do not use the internet. There are also plans for limited attendance in person at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, government rules permitting. Full details can be found in the spring issue of buzz, on the Highgate Society web site and by clicking here.

Registration is necessary. Click here to access the registration form.

Nominations are invited for election to Council. A nomination form can be downloaded here.
Highgate Society online programme of meetings

While  social distancing rules make live meetings impractical, the Society is continuing its online programme of talks and other events with 'attendance' using the Zoom app. When each meeting is announced, a link to the Eventbrite booking site will be published via the newsletter or on the Society's web site. Anyone registering will be sent a link to the Zoom meeting in the confirmation email, to be used at the advertised time.

Meetings start at 7.30 pm (unless otherwise stated). Please join a few minutes before so that the meeting can start on time and is not interrupted by late joiners.

During the booking process in Eventbrite you will be invited to make a donation to the Highgate Society. Closure of the hall has resulted in the Society losing a large proportion of its income and a small contribution will help to keep its activities going.

Meetings are open to non-members.
