Emma Gallagher from Cricket Victoria is offering the following session for coaches who are keen to learn techniques for helping their players improve their bowling.

So bring yourself, some players and your 'camera ready' face for a constructive and worthwhile session.

What: Bowling for beginners: tips and drills to help with bowling fundamentals
When: Friday 12 March, 5:15-6pm
Where: William Street Reserve, Brighton (Cluden Cricket Club)
Who for: Coaches (junior and senior) of beginners struggling with their bowling action, particularly keeping a straight arm.

Coaches are also welcome to bring players who may benefit from the drills to help us demonstrate the activities.

Note: This session is being offered as part of a photoshoot for Cricket Australia to update their images so we’ll be asking participants to confirm consent for their image to be used via a Talent Release Form. This will be available on the day.

Final Round for 13&Under Stage 1

We wish them all the best on their final game for the season. We hope they have all had a blast.

We need some help today.

It would be amazing to have loads of pictures of girls enjoying their cricket on this sunny afternoon. Dont be shy!

Semi-finals start tonight!

We wish all the teams from 13&Under Stage 2 and 16&Under competitions that are in the semi-finals for the Premiership and Libby Nicholls or Annabel Sutherland Cups the very best.

Play well. Have a really good time. Play in the spirit of the AGCC.

We look forward to hearing about classic catches, amazing run chases and personal bests.

As the largest junior female competition in Australia we are continuing to learn as we grow and ensure that we keep focussed on creating the best environment for our players to thrive.
