One of the biggest questions we get asked as Christians is should we suffer. Some people seem to give the impression that the Christian life is a drugery to be endured until finally we die and get to Heaven. Others give the impression that the Christian life is like a cruise ship with non-stop fun and games, and anything less than that is not God's plan for us.
Which is correct? What is the right way of understanding suffering in the life of a Christian? The Bible has the answers, and after tonight, you will too!

What a weekend we had last weekend, and I know this coming weekend will be better. Tonight, I am preaching at 8pm on the question of suffering.
Then this weekend, we have a lot of great teaching and wisdom for you to inspire you, challenge you, encourage you and equip you!
Saturday morning at 8.30am, as part of our Leadership Academy, I will be teaching on the essential doctrine of Righteousness. That is something every Christian must know to be able to grow in Christ! You can register for that Zoom meeting on www.tree.church/leadershipcacademy. We would love for you to join us.
Saturday evening at 7pm, we will have some beautiful worship from Chris and Von, and I will be teaching on how to pray the prayer of faith. It will give you some practical wisdom in how to pray.
Sunday morning at 10.30am, again, Chris and Von will be doing their beautiful worship thing, and then I will be talking about mothers as we celebrate Mothering Sunday.
We also have four in-person services this weekend, and they will be awesome. Every week I meet the pastors to get testimonies, and every week people are blessed, saved, healed, inspired, transformed. You must register for our in-person services - Saturday night in Watford, Sunday night in Brentwood, Croydon and Dorset. They are all going to be amazing. You register at www.tree.church/calendar. Spaces are limited, we are close to having to turn people away, so register now!
The lockdown will end soon, and we will soon be meeting again in Guildford and Dagenham. And I for one cannot wait! See you all soon,
