Earlier last month, the LRE Forum allowed to connect with members, partners, remembrance stakeholders and with everyone interested in WWII remembrance in a safe and accessible online event.
On 9-11 February, we updated our members about our activities, offered them the opportunity to network with travel trade operators and eventually discussed relevant issues such as inclusivity, climate change and sustainability in a lively event. The LRE Foundation is happy to announce the creation of LRE United Kingdom, its fourth national branch. The LRE UK’s main ambition is to develop the Liberation Route UK and to highlight a vast British cultural landscape that, for the most part, has remained hidden in the past 75 years. Four extraordinary ambassadors, including WWII veterans, will support the organisation and its Director Ben Mayne.

History of War Magazine
British veteran Mervyn Kersh has been a long-time friend of LRE, most recently featuring in #IRemember and in the LRE Conference last month. His impressive story and message to the younger generations are now told in an extensive interview in the latest issue of History of War Magazine. The 11-page interview includes a reference to the Liberation Route Europe.
