New! Innovation Fund Grants
Do you have a creative new project that is creative, innovative and entrepreneurial?  Does it mobilize the Presbyterian community to engage with its neighbors and the needs of the world in a way that will bring a fresh experience of Christ’s love to both the local and Presbyterian communities?

The Innovation Fund of the Synod of the Northeast provides funding to projects within our bounds in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the Synod of the Northeast and seeks to fund projects that are particularly innovative and move the church forward.

The deadline for the Innovation Grant is quickly approaching - April 2, 2021.  The applications will be reviewed at the May meeting of the Synod of the Northeast Mission and Ministries Commission.  For the application and more information please visit: https://www.synodne.org/innovation-intro.

Chaos Studies

Can you make me
one with everything? said
the Zenmaster to the hot-dog vendor.
Is there a One-ness to be found
skilfully curled into the core
of being, a presence of design
and order, symmetry of loveliness,
surprising grace which marks - divine -
the quarkiness of things and tracks,
the further in one probes, toward
the celestial DNA code of this universe?
And might we glimpse it even in
the fracturing of bread, the spilling forth
of liquid red, a stain that bears reality
to blood shed to set life tight
at the heart of all that is?
