Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society (ASLHS) is an honor society that recognizes and supports academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Alpha Sigma Lambda has been supporting adult students since its creation in 1945 with over 290 active chapters.
In pursuing its mission, ASLHS:

Recognizes, supports, and engages adult learners in lifelong education

Provides financial support via a scholarship program

Continuously seeks opportunities to grow the ASL honor society

Promotes and develops ways to connect ASL members so they can support one another during their time in school and as they continue their life journey
ASLHS partners with institutions and departments within institutions to recognize adult students. Scholarship and operating funds primarily come from annual institutional chapter dues and sales from the online store, which carries items for induction ceremonies, graduations, and more. Key stakeholders include the Chapter Councilor staff who work with the chapters at each institution, and the adult students they serve.
