 Are we having fun yet? Soon, people, soon!
It's hard to believe that it's been a year since our lives changed so dramatically. I, for one, have had more than my fair share of time to reflect. And of late, that reflection includes re-entry into the 3-D world, along with, well, hugs.
I've had plenty of time to take stock and appreciate all the people who have sustained me throughout the past year. Family, friends and a host of clients and colleagues with whom I've exchanged texts and email, met on Zoom and talked with on the phone (yes, phone call!).
The number of people with whom I connected over the past year is not huge, and our communication was no necessarily often. Certainly, I could have done a better job of extending my reach more often (please forgive me).
My network, however, has kept me grounded and reasonably sane. And, this year more than ever has highlighted the value of intentionally investing time and energy in the quality of my interactions, over the quantity.
